Position Description: The Senior Healthcare Analyst shall support
RM in the Air Force Surgeons General Office. This office manages
the programs, budgets, and financial executions of the Defense Health
Program Private Sector Care (PSC) requirements. This includes but

for existing and future TRICARE Managed Care Support (MCS) contracts.

activity relative to specialized financial framework associated
with each region. Monitors and evaluates execution data on an ongoing
basis; investigates and proposes new business and management practices
for application to financial operations of the contracts. Serves
as the financial advisor to the Chief Financial Officer/RM on all
issues that have a financial impact on the managed care support
contracts. Participates in developing a plan, which will enable
a smooth transition to T-Nex. This Senior Healthcare Analyst position
will provide analysis, evaluation, and system integration support
to ensure that financial activities of the PSC Budget Activity Group
are consistent with legislative intent, regulatory policy guidance,
and Presidential and Departmental directives. This person will conduct
special analysis studies and provide financial evaluations of PSC
programs and systems to include cost implication analysis of changes
to the health benefit structure and any other financial implications
associated with the managed care support contracts. Support is provided
through financial and statistical analysis of data extracted from
DHP data systems and other Department of Defense (DoD) data systems.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: A Bachelors Degree in Business,
Healthcare Management, or Nursing with seven (7) plus years of experience
is required. The following knowledge, skills, and abilities are
also required for this position: a. Proficiency in use of personal
computer, including word processing for graphics, email, and management
